As you work with Human resources, you'll decide how to structure your organization, using elements, such as departments, jobs, and positions. These are among the foundational elements that you'll configure in Human resources. Individual employees are assigned to positions which are associated with jobs.

The worker record in Dynamics 365 is where you record all the information about members of your workforce. Itâ€™s the place to store personal info about the worker, like their name and address, as well as contractual information about their relationship with the company. Itâ€™s also one of the places where you can manage the positions that this worker is assigned to, manage their compensation and benefit information, monitor their performance record, maintain competencies, and pretty much everything else relating to an individual.
